Gianfranco Veneziano, Riccardo Bicciato and John Shehata joined a delegation of Italian entrepreneurs (mainly involved in energy, construction, automotive and auto components, food processing, textiles and garments, rubber and plastics and basic chemicals) at the minister’s visit to Cairo between 3 and 4 of February.

The visit provided a key opportunity to explore the various business models and opportunities that can strengthen economic relations between Egypt and Italy.

Our delegation could meet with some of the most important Egyptian politicians, namely the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi, the Prime Minister Mr Ibrahim Mahlab, the Minister of Investments Mr Ashraf Salman. A few days later, Gianfranco Veneziano and Catia Tomasetti could also have a private meeting with Mr Ashraf Salman in Rome.
