On 2 February, the partners’ meeting approved the appointment of seven new partners: Riccardo Bicciato, Riccardo Bordi, Marco De Leo, Gabriele Malgeri, Nicola Marchioro, Augusto Praloran and Francesca Secondari.
Riccardo Bicciato (45) joined the firm in 2010 and specialises in banking and finance, project and export finance, acquisitions and corporate finance. Riccardo has been based in Cairo since October 2016 and is a member of the Africa Team and of the following focus teams: Banks, Construction & Engineering, and Energy & Infrastructures.
Riccardo Bordi (36) is based in the Genoa office since 2006. He specialises in corporate law, litigation, arbitration and interim proceedings, especially in the energy, transport and infrastructure sectors. Riccardo is a member of the following focus teams: Environmental Law, Construction & Engineering, and Corporate Governance.
Marco De Leo (39) joined the firm in 2005 and specialises in corporate law, with particular expertise in JVs, M&A, extraordinary financing, corporate litigation and private law. Marco has been based in Dubai since November 2017 and is a member of the Africa Team and of the following focus teams: Luxury, Private Equity, and Transport/Shipping.
Gabriele Malgeri (37) specialises in project finance, project bonds, banking (corporate loans and acquisitions), tenders and works/public services concessions in sectors such as energy, infrastructures, transport and local public services. Gabriele joined the firm in 2011 and is a member of the Energy & Infrastructure focus team.
Nicola Marchioro (38) is based at the firm’s Milan office, where he specialises in corporate law, M&A and commercial contracts, with a particular focus on the luxury, consumer goods and banking sectors. Nicola has been with the firm since 2006 and is a member of the Luxury focus team.
Augusto Praloran (38) joined the firm in 2008 and specialises in corporate law, M&A and commercial contracts, with particular expertise in fashion, luxury goods and design, food and catering, industrial machinery and equipment. Augusto is a member of the Private Equity focus team.
Francesca Secondari (41) has been based in Cairo since October 2016 and specialises in M&A, extraordinary transactions, mutual funds and corporate consultancy. Francesca joined the firm in 2003 and is a member of the Africa Team and of the following focus teams: Luxury and Corporate Governance.
