Bahaa-Eldin Law Office in cooperation with BonelliErede strengthens its Egyptian team in Cairo with the hire of four experienced lawyers: Mostafa Moussa, Mohamed Hossam El Ehwany, Ahmad Farghal and Nayera Sherif.
Mostafa Moussa, 35, is an expert corporate, capital markets, banking and restructuring lawyer, and practiced in Egypt for most of his career both as in-house banking lawyer as well as in leading law firms. A board member of several local companies, he joins as local partner.
Mohamed Hossam El Ehwany, 31, specialises in corporate, M&A and finance in Egypt, where he developed a significant experience at leading national and international law firms, advising clients mostly active in the corporate and energy sectors.
Ahmad Farghal, 30, specialises in corporate, M&A, capital markets and technology Law in Egypt, where he participated in some of the most relevant and sophisticated transactions in the corporate and banking sectors.
Nayera Sherif, 29, earned academic degrees in Egypt and France and specialises in banking & finance, having handled several transactions in particular in the oil & gas industry.
Both Mohamed Hossam El Ehwany and Ahmad Farghal join the Egyptian team as senior associates, alongside other lawyer Bahaa Ezzalarab (hired in July), while Nayera Sherif joins as associate. The local team is led by Ziad Bahaa-Eldin, an Egyptian lawyer, economist and writer, former head of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, Chairman of the Egyptian Investment Authority and deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Cooperation.
BonelliErede and Bahaa-Eldin Law Office’s partnership is coordinated by partner in Milan Gianfranco Veneziano, along with Cairo-based Francesca Secondari, Riccardo Bicciato and Lorenzo Melchionda.
