The 2016 edition of the Legalcommunity Energy Awards – the most important recognition of excellence in the Italian energy sector – was held on 18 January in Milan.

Once again, the judging panel acknowledged BonelliErede’s position in the Italian legal market with two high-level awards.

Mario Roli, leader of the energy & infrastructure focus team, was crowned “Lawyer of the Year – Energy & Utilities”. The judging panel highlighted that clients consider him a “competent, practical professional who has extensive knowledge of the market”.

Catia Tomasetti, coordinator of the banking and finance department, came away with the award “Lawyer of the Year – Project Finance”. The judging panel highlighted her renowned expertise in the project finance market, where she plays a leading role. According to clients, Catia Tomasetti has “impeccable expertise, flexibility, technical skills and a commercial attitude”.
