July and August in Italy saw the enactment of key pieces of legislation that mostly updated the framework of measures in place to support businesses and citizens’ everyday lives throughout the country and boost Italy’s economic recovery:
- the conversion into law (with amendments) of the Sostegni-bis Decree (Law 106/2021);
- new measures to guarantee the safe running of social and economic activities, schools, universities, healthcare and transport (Law Decree 105/2021, Law Decree 111/2021 and Law Decree 122/2021);
- measures for this year’s elections (Law Decree 117/2021); and
- amendments to the Italian Bankruptcy Law (Law Decree 118/2021).
Our Covid-19 Task Force has updated the affected sections of the vademecum healthcare law, administrative law, employment law, bankruptcy law, criminal liabilities, transport law and corporate law. As usual, everything is covered: the main areas addressed, the salient points and who is affected, along with some operational guidelines.
