Almost three years into Russia’s military aggression of Ukraine, the EU strikes again with a further wave of sanctions against Russia.

This new package of sanctions includes additional listings of entities and individuals; it also tackles, inter alia, circumvention measures and provides additional protection for EU operators in their dealings with Russian counterparties.

Furthermore, the EU also updated its Frequently Asked Questions, which now provide clarification to the European Market in relation to the prohibitions against Russia in effect to date.
