Three new additions to BonelliErede’s team
10 June 2016

BonelliErede is strengthening its team with three arrivals in two sectors of great interest: art law and construction.

Manlio Frigo and Silvia Stabile, specialising in art and cultural property law, are both joining the firm as Of Counsel. They will complement BonelliErede’s existing team of professionals who have long been involved in art law and enhance the firm’s expertise in this area.

Manlio Frigo is a professor of International and European Union Law at the University of Milan and has long been recognised as a leading international expert in cultural property, which covers historic buildings, archaeological sites, libraries and museums.

Silvia Stabile, who is re-joining BonelliErede having previously worked at the firm from 2006 to 2012, has gained considerable experience in leading Italian and international law firms specialising in art law. She has authored several publications on this subject.

In the construction sector, BonelliErede strengthens itself at both the national and the international levels with the arrival of Giuseppe Manzo as Of Counsel.

Giuseppe Manzo served as Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs EMEA at Techint Engineering & Construction and was in charge of contract administration. Throughout his career, he has acquired specific expertise in the drafting and negotiation of procurement contracts for the construction of various industrial plants and infrastructure, as well as in the management of the issues arising in the implementation phase.

“We are very pleased with these arrivals”, commented Stefano Simontacchi and Marcello Giustiniani, Co-managing Partners of BonelliErede. “Art and cultural property law requires knowledge spanning different legal practice areas, and attracts a range of clientele, from high net worth individuals and their managers to professional players in the art market, including cultural entities and institutions as well as artists and designers.” “With Giuseppe’s arrival, we are strengthening our expertise in the construction sector – which is particularly strategic for us – also for the synergies it creates with other excellences of our firm, such as project financing and real estate, as well as international arbitration, litigation and administrative law” added the Co-managing Partners.
