Angela Maria Cossellu, a senior executive with vast experience in the telecoms, insurance, real estate, trade fair and congress sectors, is the new General Manager of BonelliErede.
Angela Maria Cossellu joins the firm from EUR S.p.A., a company controlled by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, where she served as CEO from January 2022 to June this year. At EUR, she was responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s real estate assets and for managing and relaunching the capital’s most important congress and exhibition centre, which is also one of the world’s most renowned.
For more than 11 years, she held senior executive roles in Zurich Insurance Company LTD, including as CEO and before that General Manager. She was also responsible for paving the strategic and operational path of the online company Zurich Connect. Before that, she held positions of responsibility at EurizonVita (the Intesa Sanpaolo Group’s life insurance business), Vodafone and Italtel. Angela Maria Cossellu is currently an independent board member of BPER Banca S.p.A., Esprinet S.p.A. and Aon Italia S.r.l.
Angela Maria Cossellu succeeds Gabriele Zucchini in the role and will be based at the firm’s headquarters in Milan.

As General Manager, Angela Maria Cossellu will report directly to the firm’s leadership, and all the heads of business support departments will report to her. The firm now boasts approximately 800 people.
