BonelliErede announces that Augusto Praloran, a partner in the firm’s corporate practice, will be relocating from Milan to London. This move forms part of the firm’s broader strategy to further strengthen its cross-border corporate and M&A capabilities and deepen relationships with international clients active or seeking to invest in the Italian market.
Augusto joined BonelliErede in 2008 and made partner in 2019. He has extensive experience in M&A, corporate law and commercial contracts, and has a distinguished track record advising clients in private equity (with a focus on infrastructure funds), luxury brands, FMCG and manufacturing industries.
In London, Augusto will work closely with Managing Associate Francesco Maria Farracchiati and the rest of the London team. He will also contribute to further strengthening ties with leading international law firms operating in London.
With approximately 20 professionals, including four partners, BonelliErede’s London team has one of the largest presences among continental European law firms in the City, reflecting the firm’s long-standing commitment to serving clients in one of the world’s leading financial centres.
Massimiliano Danusso, Chairman of BonelliErede and Managing Partner of the London office, commented: “Augusto’s relocation represents a natural progression in our international strategy. London remains an essential market for clients investing in Italy, and his presence will enable us to deepen relationships with international investors and corporates seeking sophisticated Italian legal advice”.
Eliana Catalano, Managing Partner of BonelliErede, added: “Augusto is a highly regarded corporate and M&A lawyer with extensive experience advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. His move further enhances our ability to deliver seamless support to international clients and confirms our continued commitment to investing in our London office”.
Augusto Praloran commented: “I am delighted to be joining the firm’s London team at such a pivotal phase of the firm’s international growth. London is a strategic hub for global investors and businesses looking to Italy, and I very much look forward to working with my Cannon Street colleagues to continue advising clients on their key transactions”.
With Augusto’s arrival, the London office adds corporate and M&A to its capabilities in banking & finance, derivatives, debt capital markets, litigation and international arbitration, further broadening the range of Italian legal services available to clients in the City.
