For the third consecutive year, BonelliErede is among the 50 most innovative law firms in Europe according to the Financial Times and RSG Consulting.
The ranking has been published in the Innovative Lawyers: Europe 2019 report, which includes the results of the research conducted by the two companies. This year the research was broader than ever: between April and July 2019 the FT and RSG Consulting received and assessed 750 submissions and nominations of innovative projects, assistance and other kinds of activities submitted by 163 law firms, legal service providers and other organisations. In addition, interviews were conducted with more than 800 clients, senior lawyers, executives and experts.
Furthermore, some of the most ground-breaking legal assistance provided by BonelliErede to clients over the past year has been mentioned in the report’s categories “Enabling Business Growth and Transformation” and “Dispute Resolution”.
BonelliErede’s assistance to leading insurance companies and brokers in setting up and managing a blockchain-based platform founded on open innovation principles was highly commended in the “Enabling Business Growth and Transformation” category, and the assistance with the merger between an Italian real estate company and a holding company of real estate investment companies was commended in the same category given the complex and unprecedented tax, corporate, banking and financial issues resolved by our team.
In the “Dispute Resolution” category, BonelliErede was commended for its representation of several investors in the case against the manager of an Italian cryptocurrency exchange.
