BonelliErede’s partnership continues to expand. At the partners’ meeting on Saturday, four promotions to the partnership were approved: Barbara Concolino, Sara Lembo, Matteo Fanni and Giovanni Muzina.
Barbara Concolino (38) joined BonelliErede in 2014. She specialises in international arbitration, international commercial contracts and international tenders. Her expertise spans multiple areas and sectors, including inter-state disputes and energy. Barbara is also a member of the International Arbitration Focus Team.
Sara Lembo (39) joined the firm in 2006. She specialises in EU law, antitrust law and regulatory law, with particular focus on representing companies before administrative and judicial authorities in disputes concerning anticompetitive agreements, abuse of dominant position, antitrust compliance, antitrust offences, corporate concentrations, state aid and unfair trading practices. She is also a member of the Healthcare and Life Sciences Focus Team and the Public International & Economic Diplomacy Focus Team.
Matteo Fanni (43) specialises in tax law, with particular focus on assisting companies and individuals manage tax risks, tax audits and inspections. Matteo also regularly assists clients settle disputes and, when settlement is impossible, represents them before the courts (inc. the Supreme Court). He joined BonelliErede in 2010 and is also a member of the Tax Litigation Focus Team.
Giovanni Muzina (38) joined the employment law department in 2010. He is highly skilled at assisting banks, insurers and listed companies structure and manage relationships with top managers, including in terms of remuneration packages. Giovanni is equally well-versed in guiding companies in all matters concerning employee international mobility, trade union negotiations, corporate crises, and reorganisations as part of extraordinary transactions. Giovanni is also a member of the Banking Focus Team and the Corporate Governance Focus Team.

The promotions will take effect on 1 January and bring the total number of partners to 86 – and number of female partners to one of the highest in Italy.
