Catia Tomasetti from our Africa committee attended the trip to assess the business opportunities – including in terms of industrial partnerships – offered by the Egyptian market.

Key sectors assessed included mechanics, infrastructure and renewable energies.

Catia participated to private meetings with some of the most renowned Egyptian politicians, namely the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi, the Prime Minister Mr Ibrahim Mahlab, the Minister of Investments Mr Ashraf Salman, Minister of Electricity and Energy Mr Mohamed Shaker, the Minister of Industry and Trade Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour and the Minister of International Cooperation Mr Naglaa Anwar Al Ahwany.
