Covid-19: updated vademecum following the enactment of the August Decree
03 September 2020

August in Italy saw the enactment of two key pieces of legislation: Prime Ministerial Decree of 7 August and the August Decree (Law Decree No. 104 of 14 August on urgent measures to support and relaunch the economy). These decrees have changed the framework of measures in place to support the resumption of business operations and of citizens’ everyday lives throughout the country, including by extending the effectiveness of some of them until 7 September.

In particular, the August Decree contains noteworthy measures on school, work, health, tourism, and territorial cohesion (with a focus on businesses in disadvantaged areas). And more generally, it continues the government’s fiscal and financial push with further measures to help kickstart the economy.

Our Covid-19 Task Force has updated the affected sections of the vademecum.

The table of contents, with links to the individual sections, is available here.
