BonelliErede announces the promotion to partner of Andrea La Mattina and Alessandro Rosi, previously of counsel of the firm. These appointments are part of BonelliErede’s long-standing commitment to growth through internal progression and on recognising and cultivating talent within the firm.

Andrea La Mattina, based in Genoa, heads the Shipping & Transport practice, with a focus on maritime and transport law, insurance law and private international law. He joined BonelliErede in 2002 and, for more than 20 years, has contributed to consolidating the firm’s position in this area, advising shipowners, logistics operators and insurance companies on complex transactions and international litigation and arbitration. Andrea is a full professor of Navigation and Transport Law at the University of Naples Federico II and combines his professional work with recognised academic and institutional commitment.

Alessandro Rosi, based in Milan, works in the Administrative Law practice. He joined BonelliErede in 2015 and has developed extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious matters, advising leading state-owned and private companies, listed companies and institutions, with particular focus on public tenders and privatisations. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to the growth of the practice, building a strong track record in key sectors, including energy, gas, telecommunications, infrastructure, environment and healthcare.

With these promotions, the firm further strengthens two highly specialised areas of its full-service offering: maritime and transport law and administrative law, both of strategic importance within the high-growth infrastructure sector.
