The School of Law of Addis Ababa University and BonelliErede have created a partnership that will focus on various legal practice areas, including corporate law, energy law, international taxation, international law and anticorruption.

The aim is to work closely together to progress key research projects, designed to encourage, among other things, the development of industrial and financial relations. This joining of forces may also become the basis for legislation proposals (in Italy and Ethiopia) designed to foster foreign investment.

The School of Law was opened in 1963 and created with the aim of making Ethiopia independent in terms of legal education and administration of justice. Since its founding, the School of Law has trained thousands of graduates who have gone on to hold high-level positions within judicial, administrative and academic institutions at both national and international level.

BonelliErede believes Ethiopia is one of the most important African jurisdictions, as the doors to foreign investment are opening ever wider and the Italian and European business community is ever growing.
