Luca Perfetti to head the administrative law department

BonelliErede continues to strengthen its administrative law department with Luca Raffaello Perfetti’s arrival at the beginning of November. This now brings the department to a grand total of over 20 professionals.

After his admission to the Italian Bar Association in 1992, Mr Perfetti worked at a leading Italian law firm for several years before moving to a firm renowned for its administrative law expertise. Over the years, he has assisted many companies and public entities operating in various public service sectors (both liberalised and state-owned), listed and unlisted companies, funds, financial institutions, and Italian and foreign banks.

His academic career is equally rich. He is a full professor of administrative law, a member of the scientific and editorial committee of the most prominent public law reviews, and author of over 220 publications. As such, it should come as no surprise that Luca has received numerous awards and is cited by highly reputed legal directories – such as Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 – as a leading expert in administrative law.

Luca will head the department and be joined by Alessandro Rosi, who has obtained favourable rulings for major listed and unlisted companies involved in complex litigation. Alessandro also has significant experience in advising on administrative law matters and is often invited to speak at conferences.

“We are delighted to welcome Luca and Alessandro to the team”, commented co-managing partners Stefano Simontacchi and Marcello Giustiniani, who went on to add that, “Their extensive expertise gained in recent years, having worked on high-profile cases involving Italian clients, will further enrich our administrative law department and they will also be able to contribute greatly to our focus teams for sectors such as telecommunications, energy, public services at both national and local level, and public transport and motorways”.
