BonelliErede announces the arrival of Enrico Castellani at its Milan headquarters as of counsel, reaffirming the firm’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its expertise in litigation and dispute management – core practice areas in supporting domestic and international clients.
Enrico Castellani brings extensive experience in handling judicial and arbitration proceedings, with deep expertise in the banking and finance sector and a focus on matters related to corporate restructuring, insolvency and complex litigation. Throughout his career, he has advised leading Italian and international financial institutions, private equity funds, and major industrial groups. He has also worked – alongside white-collar crime lawyers – on matters related to white-collar crime, particularly in cases involving market abuse.
Before joining BonelliErede, Enrico co-founded Freshfields’ Italian offices (1997), where he established and led the dispute resolution/arbitration practice and launched the structured finance practice. He also gained experience in the legal department of BCI (now Intesa Sanpaolo) and in other Italian law firms.
“We are delighted to welcome Enrico”, commented Managing Partner Eliana Catalano and Chairman Massimiliano Danusso. “His extensive experience and recognised standing will be a valuable asset to our litigation & dispute resolution practice and will further strengthen its positioning in the domestic and international markets”.
Giuseppe Lombardi, partner at BonelliErede, added: “Enrico’s arrival marks a significant step in the growth of our large team. His ability to approach the most complex cases with strategic vision and technical rigour will make a meaningful contribution to delivering top-tier legal assistance that is increasingly comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and internationally oriented”.
