The 21st edition of the ACTIF international trade fair kicks off tomorrow in Addis Ababa. ACTIF is the multi-sector go-to event in the Horn of Africa dedicated to opportunities for Italian companies in Ethiopia.

Gianpiero Succi, Francesca Secondari, Daniele Gambirasio and Mario Volpe will be speaking at an event organised today by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), which will be attended by Ethiopian institutions and Italian entrepreneurs exhibiting at the trade fair. Their speeches will focus on the Ethiopian legal framework and the industrial parks that Ethiopia hopes will attract foreign investors.

The event is a unique opportunity to strengthen relationships between Italian and Ethiopian companies in numerous sectors: construction and machinery, engineering and infrastructure, energy and environment, water treatment, agro-industry and food processing machinery, and consumer goods – particularly clothing, household and personal products and household appliances.

The event also provides the opportunity to present our Africa Team’s 2017 edition of the “Doing Business in Ethiopia” report.
