BonelliErede continues to support African art, including here in Italy. After being a partner of the South Africa Pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia art festival last year, BonelliErede is now sponsoring the photography exhibition: “AfricaAfrica, exploring the Now of African design and photography”. The exhibition will be housed at the Palazzo Litta in Milan from 15 March to 2 April.
The main aim of the AfricaAfrica exhibition is to recount the transformations in Africa through design and photography, and it will be the opening event of the cultural project Palazzo Litta Cultura. The project was born from a collaboration between the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Activities and Tourism for Lombardy and MoscaPartners and is sponsored by the Ivory Coast Embassy, the South African Consulate and the Burkina Faso Consulate.
MoscaPartners and MIA Photo Fair Projects, the creators of the exhibition, are also the curators of the design and photography sections, respectively.
BonelliErede closely follows everything concerning the African continent, including the rapid growth of its art market. This firm also keenly participates in initiatives related to contemporary African art, where it has two offices: one in Egypt and one in Ethiopia. Both offices recently celebrated their first year since opening.
