BonelliErede launches Art and Cultural Property Focus Team
14 September 2016

Created to meet the growing demand for services in this area, the new focus team brings together BonelliErede professionals who have a proven reputation in advising international art galleries, auction houses, museums and cultural foundations, financial institutions and private banks, collectors, and high net worth individuals. The team will work closely with the Private Clients Focus Team, whose clients often require assistance on art law issues.

The focus team includes experts on tax; customs; criminal, civil and commercial law; and banking and finance law.

Alberto Saravalle heads the team, flanked by Silvia Stabile – who has gained considerable experience in leading Italian and international law firms specialised in art law and has authored several publications on this subject – and Manlio Frigo, a professor of international and European Union law at the University of Milan who has long been recognised as a leading international expert in cultural property. The team is further bolstered by Angelo Bonetta, Carlo Montagna, Francesco Sbisà and Stefano Simontacchi.

“The new Art and Cultural Property Focus Team takes us another step towards our goal of aligning ourselves even closer to our clients’ needs”, commented Co-Managing Partner Stefano Simontacchi.

“Our firm has always paid special attention to art law. With the creation of this focus team, we will become a reference point for the art sector not only in Italy, but also internationally”, added Co-Managing Partner Marcello Giustiniani.
