For the fourth year in a row, BonelliErede is the only Italian firm in Thomson Reuters’ Mainland Europe Law Firm Brand Index. The index ranks law firms based on brand awareness, the propensity of businesses to entrust them with legal matters and their expertise and experience in M&A, litigation and cross-border matters.
BonelliErede ranks 15th, putting it with some of the world’s biggest names in law and thereby confirming its market position and reputation in terms of expertise and service offering. Rankings are determined through independent research carried out in 2021, based on 298 interviews with senior legal buyers across key jurisdictions in the region (excluding the UK). Additionally, 204 non-mainland Europe-based senior legal buyers were asked which firms they engaged in the key jurisdictions in mainland Europe over the past year.
This ranking – which covers a period of great change due to the impact of the pandemic – highlights law firms that have not only been able to show their technical expertise but also managed to strengthen client relationships by supporting them every step of the way to meet changing needs.
Stefano Simontacchi, President of BonelliErede, commented: “It’s a great pleasure for us to once again see our firm in this important ranking, as it’s clear recognition of our dedication to excellence and of the international breadth of our work. Today, we’re more aware than ever that a law firm’s value is represented not only by its skills and knowledge but also by its understanding of clients’ constantly evolving needs and its ability to assist them in facing new strategic business challenges and build enduring relationships based on mutual trust”.
Andrea Carta Mantiglia, Managing Partner, added: “We see these qualities in all our people across EMEA. Our team effort is aimed not only at solidifying BonelliErede’s status as a leading light for the business community, as demonstrated by this latest ranking, but also at building a strong, recognisable and attractive brand for young people coming into this profession”.
