For the second year in a row, BonelliErede has received a bronze medal from EcoVadis. This places the firm in the top 35% of businesses that obtained the best scores in the last 12 months.
Several projects and initiatives contributed to the rating awarded to BonelliErede. The firm’s highest score was in the ‘Ethics’ area, thanks to a fair and transparent system for managing operations, including anti-corruption policies and information security guarantees. Additionally, all employees have been trained on the commitments, principles and responsibilities set out in the Code of Ethics and Conduct.
The assessment also took into account factors in relation to taking care of people’s wellbeing and raising awareness of D&I issues, including the “Human Rights Policy – Diversity and Inclusion” and workshops on the topic, the support given to third-sector associations committed to protecting minors, and the various collaborations on specific CSR initiatives. On the environmental front, BonelliErede took part in a tree planting initiative across the Lombardy and Lazio regions as part of efforts to offset the carbon footprint generated from using our printers, to name but one example.
Angela Maria Cossellu, BonelliErede’s general manager, commented: “Receiving this award two years running is not something we take for granted: year after year, EcoVadis’ requirements are ever more stringent”. She added: “For us, being a responsible law firm does not simply mean meeting the expectations of a community that is increasingly attentive to these values, but rather making a conscious choice every day to be an active part of indispensable change. We plan on forging forward in this direction with great conviction and with the contribution and participation of everyone at BonelliErede.”
