The partners meeting of BonelliErede approved the appointment of two new partners: Francesco Anglani and Federico Vezzani.
Francesco Anglani, 39, joined BonelliErede in 2002. He is based in the Rome office where he mainly focuses on Italian and EU antitrust law. In particular, Mr Anglani advises in the antitrust authorisation proceedings before domestic and international competition authorities, as well as on dominant position abuse and in State aid cases. He also drafts opinions on EU law and handles claims before domestic and European courts.
Federico Vezzani, 37, joined BonelliErede in 2014 from Riolo Calderaro Crisostomo e Associati. He works from both the Milan and the London offices and mainly focuses on transactions aimed at strengthening capital through issuance of equity, hybrid, subordinated and convertible instruments; liability management transactions; capital raising using debt instruments, plain vanilla and structured, either through stand-alone bond issues or in the framework of national and international programmes. Mr Vezzani also specialises in consulting services regarding regulatory issues and prudential supervision.
“We are very pleased with Francesco and Federico’s promotions” said managing partner Marcello Giustiniani “It is a well-deserved acknowledgment for two professionals that have extensive experience, despite their young age. In addition to the contribution they are already making to our business, we believe that they will provide new ideas and energy to support the process of innovation and change that BonelliErede is bringing about”.
“The new partners fully embody the spirit of our organisation: on the one hand, the traditional inclination towards enhancing professional skills that have grown internally, on the other, the search for first-class professionals who are able to integrate into our reality by fostering innovation in our offer of legal services” added managing partner Stefano Simontacchi.
