The European Commission has launched a consultation ahead of the adoption of the new Clean Industrial State Aid Framework, which is set to replace the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework – adopted following the outbreak of war in Ukraine – in June.
The new rules aim to support renewable energy, clean technologies, and the decarbonisation of industrial processes.
The consultation is open until 25 April 2025.
