BonelliErede renews ISO 27001 certification
19 June 2025

BonelliErede’s commitment to certification continues with this year’s renewal of ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management systems.

The certification – updated to the latest 2022 version – was issued by Rina S.p.A.

The firm first obtained the certification for all its Italian offices in 2019 and, over the years, has extended it to its London, Brussels and Dubai offices. The certification helps assure clients and prospects that BonelliErede adopts best practices in the management and processing of data – regardless of their form or nature (be it hard or soft copy) – to effectively address security risks.

ISO 27001:2022 introduces important new features aimed at aligning the standard with new information security challenges, such as the use of predictive analytics to monitor the deep and dark web and AI-powered automation. These new measures reflect the latest technological developments and risk management needs, especially when it comes to the digital sphere.

Angela Maria Cossellu, General Manager of BonelliErede, commented: “Obtaining ISO 27001:2022 certification testifies to our ability to anticipate information security challenges. It is the result of a firm culture that has made information protection and cyber risk management strategic pillars of our business, through the combination of advanced technical expertise and responsible behaviour. This new certification is also a way of offering all our stakeholders a further guarantee of excellence and reliability”.
